A lustrous burgundy coloured pendant hangs on a strand of beautiful pearls - a hint to the pomegranate seeds in Persephone's myth. This romantic, vintage looking necklace is inspired by Persephone, the goddess of Spring and queen of the Underworld. Persephone makes an appearance in Hesiod’s Theogyn, but it was Nikita Gill's poetry, portraying Persephone as the fierce queen she is, that inspired us to design this necklace.
